Ingredients
  

For the Steak Bites
  • 1 lb Sirloin steak Choose a well-marbled cut for juicy, flavorful bites.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Use extra virgin for a rich taste.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Feel free to use fresh minced garlic for a stronger flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for seasoning.
For the Pesto Pasta
  • 8 oz Pasta of choice Penne or fusilli hold onto the pesto beautifully.
  • 1 cup Fresh basil pesto Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grate fresh for a nutty kick.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Adds a burst of freshness and color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch thick.
  2. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and any other favorite herbs over the steak bites. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Cooking
  1. Add the seasoned steak pieces to the hot skillet. Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  2. While the steak is cooking, boil water in a separate pot and cook your pasta until al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Toss the cooked pasta with fresh pesto and gently fold in the steak bites until well-coated.
Serving
  1. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese for an extra layer of flavor.
