Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Dough
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

Method
 

Prepare the filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the swirls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Spread the spinach artichoke filling evenly over the puff pastry.
  3. Starting from one edge, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Cut the log into 1-inch pieces.
Bake
  1. Place the swirls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These swirls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
