  • 1 tbsp Olive oil A drizzle helps achieve a beautiful sear on the steak.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Adds a savory depth that complements the beef beautifully.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for bringing out the natural flavors of the sirloin steak.
For the Herb Butter
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Use at room temperature for easy mixing with herbs.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped finely, it adds a fresh, vibrant flavor.
  • 1 tsp Thyme or rosemary Either herb will impart a wonderful aroma and taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Sear the steak in a hot cast-iron skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 6-10 minutes.
  5. Rest the steak for 5-10 minutes after removing it from the oven.
Serving
  1. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh herbs for added flavor and color.
