Ingredients
  

For the Brine
  • 1 cup Water use filtered water for the best flavor
  • 1 cup White vinegar adds a tangy punch
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar balances the acidity
  • 1 tablespoon Salt kosher salt is preferred
For the Peppers
  • 4 cups Fresh pepperoncini peppers choose firm, vibrant ones
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves smash them slightly
  • 2 leaves Bay leaves infuse a subtle earthy flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry your pepperoncini peppers. Slice them into rings, removing stems and seeds if desired.
  2. In a saucepan, mix equal parts water and vinegar, along with salt and sugar. Heat gently until dissolved.
  3. Toss in garlic cloves and any other favorite spices. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Carefully pack the sliced peppers into clean jars, leaving some space at the top. Pour the hot brine over the peppers.
  5. Seal the jars tightly with lids and let them cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
