  • 2 medium ripe bananas overripe for sweetness
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional, walnuts or pecans

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients in a large bowl: combine creamy peanut butter, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Add the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold them into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, ensuring they're evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
  9. Optional: Drizzle with melted chocolate for an extra indulgent treat!
