  • 2 cups Fresh mushrooms A mix of cremini and shiitake
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For richness
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 medium Shallots Finely chopped
  • 1 cup Beef broth Low-sodium
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream For creaminess
  • 2 sprigs Fresh thyme For flavor

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Sauté the mushrooms in a skillet over medium heat until tender and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic to the mushrooms and stir for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve the mushroom sauce over your cooked steak and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
