Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for breading
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup hot honey for drizzling
Bun and Toppings
  • 4 pieces brioche buns toasted
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 4 slices pickles

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil for frying.
  2. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken and drizzle with hot honey.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Place the fried chicken on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  2. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles.
  3. Drizzle more hot honey on top and close the sandwich with the bun.
