Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on or skinless
For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger fresh, grated
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until well combined.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Bake the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the marinated salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
