For the Topping
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Seasoned breadcrumbs add extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it’s no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  4. Combine the browned beef with diced onions and bell peppers in the same skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Add your favorite seasonings, mixing everything well.
  6. Mix in cooked pasta or rice with the beef mixture until fully combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. Top with shredded cheese, ensuring an even layer covers the whole casserole.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
