Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your favorite cut of steak into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the steak bites and let them sit for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Cooking
  1. Add the seasoned steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  2. Once browned, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter and minced garlic. Stir gently for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Toss the steak bites in the garlic butter mixture for an additional minute until well-coated.
  4. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
