Cake Layers
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix Prepare according to package instructions
  • 1 box vanilla ice cream Softened
Frosting and Toppings
  • 1 cup whipped cream For topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate fudge sauce For drizzling
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies For garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Cake
  1. Bake the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions in a 9-inch round cake pan. Allow to cool completely.
Layer the Ice Cream
  1. Once the cake is cooled, spread a layer of softened vanilla ice cream on top of the cake. Smooth it out evenly.
  2. Place the cake in the freezer for about 1 hour to allow the ice cream to firm up.
Frost and Decorate
  1. Remove the cake from the freezer and top with whipped cream, spreading it evenly over the ice cream layer.
  2. Drizzle chocolate fudge sauce over the whipped cream and sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top.
Freeze and Serve
  1. Return the cake to the freezer for at least 1 hour before serving to ensure it is firm.
  2. Slice and serve chilled.
