Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 2 medium cucumbers sliced
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Herbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. Slice the cucumbers and red onion thinly and place them in a mixing bowl.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the sliced cucumbers and onions. Add the chopped dill and toss to combine.
  2. Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
