Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Fettuccine or Linguine Choose your favorite pasta.
  • 1 tbsp Salt For boiling water.
For the Cajun Shrimp
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and deveined.
  • 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning For flavoring the shrimp.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a creamy texture.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated.
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Diced, mix of red and green.
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley or Chives Chopped.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Shrimp
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. Add shrimp, season with Cajun spices, and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. Remove shrimp from skillet. Add diced onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
Mixing in Cream
  1. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine with sautéed veggies. Simmer gently for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Combining Everything
  1. Return cooked shrimp to skillet along with drained pasta. Toss gently to coat in the creamy sauce.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while warm.
