For the Vegetables
  • 4 cups Cabbage (green or napa) the star of the show
  • 1 cup Carrots (shredded) adds sweetness and texture
  • 1 cup Bell pepper (sliced) brings sweetness and vitamins
For Seasoning
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) enhances aroma and flavor
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil adds nutty essence
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes for a touch of heat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice your beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes without stirring.
  4. Toss in shredded cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir and cook for another 5-7 minutes until tender.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and a dash of sesame oil. Pour over the beef and veggies.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and let everything simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving warm.
