Ingredients
  

For the Batter
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour Can substitute with whole wheat flour.
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar Coconut sugar can be used for a caramel-like flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon Increase if desired.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs Use flax eggs for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil Melted coconut oil works well.
  • 2 cups Apples Use tart varieties like Granny Smith.
For Topping (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts Walnuts or pecans, toasted for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Can mix with milk to create a glaze.

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar in a separate bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the fresh apples gently.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the apple bread in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
