- 2 tbsp brown sugar

- 1 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups hickory or applewood chips (soaked in water)
Instructions
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
- In a bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; rub generously over the ribs.
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) and add soaked wood chips.
- Place the ribs bone side down on the smoker grate and smoke for about 5-6 hours until they reach an internal temperature of 203°F (95°C).
