  • 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips and chop broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch mixture. Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef in batches and sauté until browned (about 3 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add broccoli; stir-fry for about 4 minutes until bright green but crisp.
  5. Return cooked beef to the skillet, pour in the prepared sauce, and stir well to combine. Let simmer for an additional couple of minutes until heated through.
