- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined (avoid overmixing).
- Scoop about two tablespoons of the mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
- Arrange the meatballs in the prepared baking dish with space between each one.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
