  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets about two inches apart and bake for about 10 minutes.
  6. For the drizzle, whisk powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Use a piping bag to create spiderweb designs on cooled cookies.
