  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 8 oz provolone cheese
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers (mix of red and green)
  • 1 cup sliced sweet onions
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and bell peppers in olive oil until caramelized (5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add thinly sliced beef to the skillet; cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
  4. Layer the bottom half of slider buns in the baking dish. Add half the provolone cheese, then the beef mixture, followed by the remaining cheese. Top with bun tops.
  5. Melt butter with garlic powder; brush over the buns.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil; bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
