  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • Zest of 2 large oranges
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 2 large oranges)
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and 1/2 cup sugar with softened butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. While crust bakes, whisk eggs in a separate bowl; add remaining sugar, orange zest, and juice. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour filling over the baked crust and spread evenly. Bake for another 20-25 minutes until set.
