Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken skin-side down for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until soft (about 5 minutes), then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth; scrape up browned bits from the pan. Bring to a simmer before adding Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
- Return the chicken to the skillet (skin-side up) and transfer to the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve immediately with sauce drizzled over the top.
