These warm, fluffy rolls are filled with a delightful blend of spiced pumpkin and rich chai flavors, then topped with creamy frosting. Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy snack, they will fill your kitchen with comforting aromas and impress your family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp chai spice blend
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes). In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, chai spice blend, and salt. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then gradually incorporate dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the Dough: Turn onto a floured surface; knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).
  3. Roll Out the Dough: Punch down the dough; roll out on a floured surface to a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Add Filling: Spread pumpkin puree over the dough; sprinkle with brown sugar and chai spice blend. Roll tightly into a log.
  5. Slice and Arrange: Cut into equal pieces (about 1 inch thick). Place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); cover rolls and let rise for another 20 minutes. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
