Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 container (8 oz) store-bought frosting
  • 12 oz chocolate melts (any color/flavor)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as per the cake mix instructions. Grease a baking pan and pour in the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in half of the frosting until you achieve a dough-like consistency.
  4. Roll small portions into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip each ball halfway into melted chocolate and return to the sheet. Add sprinkles while wet.
  6. Allow to set for about an hour, then insert sticks if desired, and serve.
