  • 1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk (warm)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples (peeled and diced)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup icing sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to about 110°F (43°C) and mix with yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine melted butter and sugar into the yeast mixture, then gradually add flour to form a soft dough.

  6. Roll tightly into a log, slice into 12 pieces, and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with icing made from icing sugar mixed with milk before serving.
