- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups fresh Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- ¾ cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in the remaining sugar and sour cream until fluffy.
- Gently fold in the sliced apples. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust, drizzle with half of the caramel sauce, then layer with the remaining cheesecake mixture.
- Bake for about 60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours.
- Serve chilled with additional caramel drizzled on top.
