  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat until fully melted.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Divide the mixture into two bowls; color one bowl red and the other blue using food coloring.
  4. Stir Rice Krispies into each colored marshmallow mixture until well coated.
  5. Layer half of the red mixture in a greased baking dish, followed by half of the blue mixture.
  6. Use any remaining plain Rice Krispies mixture to fill in the gap between colored layers.
  7. Allow to cool completely at room temperature (about 1 hour), then cut into squares or festive shapes.
