Juicy, slow-cooked beef is seasoned with aromatic spices and smoked to perfection, then nestled in soft brioche buns. Topped with creamy avocado, fresh cilantro, and zesty pico de gallo, these burgers deliver an unforgettable culinary experience that will impress family and friends at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 tablespoons birria spice mix
  • ½ cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 4 ounces queso Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese
  • 4 brioche buns
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup pico de gallo

Instructions

  1. Gather and measure all ingredients for a smooth cooking process.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, birria spice mix, and half of the beef broth. Mix gently until well combined.
  3. Form six patties (about 6 ounces each) and make an indentation in the center of each patty.

  5. Add cheese slices during the last few minutes of smoking to melt.
  6. Toast brioche buns lightly on the grill. Assemble burgers with smoked patties, cilantro, avocado, and pico de gallo.
