Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients while alternating with milk until combined.
  5. Divide batter into three bowls; color one red, one blue, and leave one white. Pour into pans.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
  7. For frosting, beat butter and powdered sugar together; add heavy cream until smooth. Color as desired.
