  4. Pour the hot syrup into the softened gelatin while mixing on low speed. Gradually increase speed to high.
  5. Beat until thick and fluffy (about 8-10 minutes), adding vanilla extract midway.
  6. Spread the mixture into a greased baking pan and allow it to set at room temperature for at least four hours or overnight.
