Instructions
- Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly, then chop into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.
- If making homemade croutons, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut stale bread into cubes, drizzle with olive oil, season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Bake for about 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, anchovy paste, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the lettuce, add croutons and Parmesan cheese. Toss gently until well combined.
