Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 1 large egg
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tsp fresh sage, chopped
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onions, cranberries, breadcrumbs, egg, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well using your hands.
- Form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Serve warm, optionally drizzled with cranberry sauce.
