- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- Ranch dressing for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
- Allow chicken to cool slightly before shredding or chopping into small pieces. Mix with buffalo sauce.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread. On the unbuttered side, layer one slice of cheese, followed by buffalo chicken mixture, and another slice of cheese.
- Top with another slice of bread (buttered side up) and grill in a skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with a drizzle of ranch dressing.
