Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 oz) skinless salmon fillets
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). If using an oven-safe skillet, place it inside to heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
  4. Carefully take out the hot skillet from the oven and add olive oil if needed. Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for 3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Pour half of the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and transfer it back into the oven. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Drizzle with remaining garlic butter sauce and sprinkle parsley on top before serving.
