Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). If using an oven-safe skillet, place it inside to heat.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
- Carefully take out the hot skillet from the oven and add olive oil if needed. Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for 3 minutes until golden brown.
