Crisco Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Here’s a yummy chocolate chip recipe for people who like their cookies gooey and chewy.

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 egg

1 egg yolk

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.

Using a sifter, sift the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar; blend well. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Add the sifted ingredients and mix just sufficient to blend.

Using a wooden spoon, stir in the chocolate chips. Measure 1/4 cup of the cookie dough and drop one at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Space Cookies 3-inches apart on cookie sheet.
